Beeline: The Victoria Compact is a bit different to many other commuter bikes. The Portobello uses 650b wheels with wide tyres which provide great ride comfort and stability with low rolling resistance to tackle roads and paths. The Compact design uses a shorter top tube for a more compact design.

The Portobello has 10 speed gears on the rear with a single chainring on the front for low maintenance and yet a wide range of gear thanks to an 11-42 cassette.

Whyte: Combining MTB geometry and parts with road bike wheels and tyres has always been the case with the R-7 line up - but the new Plus tyres takes this to a new level. These high-air volume/low-rolling-resistance tyres are perfect for dealing with 'All Surface

The Portobello features massive 650b x 47c tyres to smooth out the road chatter. These deep profile tyres, give the same rolling diameter as 700c x 28c tyres but the extra air volume make them super comfortable and pinch puncture resistant.

A custom rear dropout mounts the hydraulic disc brake caliper inside the rear triangle, clearing the way for any rack or mudguards that may be required.
