As with all Wilier bikes, the geometry used is classic Italian geometry, placing the rider over the bottom bracket, with a long reach to give great performance and power transfer. Unlike a lot of road bikes we are seeing today, the head tube is not lengthened for an upright ride, instead the rider gets low to reduce wind drag.

The frame is made using a lightweight double butted aluminium, with thinner chainstays used to help reduce wieght, with a carbon fork to aid ride comfort.

Although the model name carries Mirage, there are a few deviations in terms of components used; the chainset is Campagnolo Xenon, the range below Mirage, but the brakeset is Campagnolo Veloce, the groupset above Mirage.

Finishing kit consists of Ritchey seatpost, bars and stem, with a Miche wheelset and a KMC chain.

The Lavaredo Mirage offers a good quality Italian road bike, using traditional Italian components, frameset and geometries for a good value, fast ride.
