The Lexa S has some key upgrades over the lexa entry level model, such as a carbon fork and Shimano Sora 9 speed shifting for a comfortable and good value womens road bike.

The Alpha White Aluminium frameset used is the same as the Lexa entry level model, but it does have an upgraded fork, with carbon legs to help absorp the vibrations from the road for a smooth ride quality. The weight difference between the carbon fork and the aluminium fork isn't really noticeable, but in terms of ride comfort there is a benefit to the carbon fork.

Transmission is upgraded on the Lexa S, with Shimano Sora 9 speed STI levers used, along with a Shimano Sora front emch and Shimano Tiagra rear mech, with an FSA Vero Compact chainset used, which offers a wide spread of gears on two chainrings. This offers a total of 18 gears.

The contact points (saddle, bars) are WSD (womens specific design), designed to suit the female anatomy, with the womens saddle aiding the comfortable ride.

The Lexa S is really good value, with 9 speed shifting and carbon fork.
