Equipped with the Shimano 2300 groupset which offers 8 speed shifting using the integrated brake and gear STI levers, with Shimano 2300 mechs used for reliable shifting. The compact chainset uses a smaller than standard inner ring to allow for a spread of gears similar to that found on a triple chainset, but on two chainrings rather than three.

Womens fit handlebars are used, this helps reduce the reach to the brake levers, something that is a problems for women on mens bikes, and a womens saddle is also featured.
