The 7.5 FX Mens has some significant upgrades over it's predecessor the 7.3 FX Mens: a carbon fork, 9 speed shifting and Bontrager SSR wheelset all contributing to the increase ion money, but the big increase in performance.

Whilst still being comfortable, the 7.5 FX lends itself more towards fast commuting, general fitness and recreational cycling rather than a do-it-all bike that the FX range is up to this point. The bike is still capable of being taken down paths and towpaths, but it is on the road that the benefits of the upgrades are really felt.

The carbon fork reduced weight compared to the aluminium fork, but more importantly it absorbs the road vibrations, making the ride smoother and more comfortable. The Bontrager SSR wheelset roll faster, are stiff and sturdy, and offer great value for the money.

The Deore 9 speed shifters offer a precise reliable shift quality, with the Deore LX rear mech being known for its hard wearing durability, and a Deore front mech is also used. the chainset is Shimano Octalink, with three chainrings used, so the 7.5 FX has a total of 27 gears.

Finally, Bontrager components are used on the saddle, seatpost, bars and stem, all good quality components.

The 7.5 FX Mens is full of upgrades and offers an excellent ride, whilst remaining comfortable.
