As with the Trek 6000, the frameset is constructed from Alpha Gold Aluminium, but the fork is a RockShox Recon and the brakes are upgraded to Avid Elixir 1 hydraulic discs.

The shifters used are Shimano Deore M591 10 speed, with an SLX triple chainset, a Deore front mech and an XT M780 shadow rear mech.

The RockShox Recon fork features a remote lockout that can be operated from the handlebars, rebound adjustment an alloy steerer and offers 100mm travel. The brakes are upgraded to Avid Elixir 1 hydraulic discs.

The bars, stem, seatpost and saddle are all from Bontrager.

The 6300 Disc is equipped with high quality 10 speed Shimano compnents, and uses the RockShox Recon fork and Avid Elixir 1 brakes for a great trail hardtail.
