The frameset is the same Trek Alpha Black Aluminium tubing used on the 4 Series models (such as the 4500 Disc), but with a more aggressive geometry for fast trail performance. 

The frame features a semi-integrated head tube, formed down tube with integrated gusset, formed top tube, monostay seatstay, forged dropouts with rack & mudguard mounts and a replaceable derailleur hanger.

A RockShox Recon fork is a trail friendly 100mm travel, with coil spring, rebound, remote lockout, alloy steerer and remote lock out. The Avid Juicy 3 hydraulic brakes offer a high level of braking performance.

The drivetrain is primarily Shimano, with a Shimano XT rear mech, Deore front mech, Deore 9 speed shifters, and Shimano M542 triple chainset for a total of 27 gears and a Sram cassette.

The wheelset is upgraded, using Shimano M475 hubs on Bontrager Ranger rims for a tough, durable wheelset. Bontrager provide the finishing touches, such as the Evoke 1 saddle, seatpost, bars and stem.

The Trek 6300 Disc is an XC hardtail, designed for tackling the trails and offering a high level of components, with the Juicy 3 brakes, Recon fork, and Deore / XT drivetrain for fast trail performance.
