Tektro Draco hydraulic disc brakes offer enhanced stopping power over the cable discs used on the Hardrock Disc model. The fork is also upgraded, the SR Suntour XCM fork features a lockout, allowing the fork to be used like a rigid fork on the road, and giving you the cushioning of suspension off road.

The frame is constructed from fully butted A1 Premium Aluminium frame with double ORE down tube for a lighter, more compliant and durable bike, with disc mounts for upgrading.

Light and durable double-walled alloy rims are tough enough to handle the rough stuff with Specialized Fast Trak LK Sport tyres offering a reduced knob height for lower rolling resistance, but have plenty of grip for confidence on the trail. This enables the bike to roll fast on the road, but have grip off road.

Shimano Altus 9 Speed Rapidfire trigger shifters are fast and reliable so you'll never miss a shift with the Shimano 9 Speed 11-34 cassette offering a wide range of gearing options for a variety of fitness levels. A Specialized Body Geometry Hardrock saddle has front/rear bumpers for on and off-road durability, and ample padding for comfort.
