As with the entry level Dolce, the frame is constructed using Specialized's A1 Premium Aluminium with women's endurance geometry and custom tubesets to deliver a responsive, confident and stable ride. This is complimented by a lightweight carbon fork for precision steering through tight turns, with Zertz inserts to absorb road vibrations.

One of the key upgrades over the entry level Dolce is the DT Axis 1.0 wheelset featured, which is significantly lighter than comparable-level wheelsets; these tough wheels roll smooth and fast.

Shimano's Sora groupset is another upgrade over the entry level Dolce, moving to 9 speed shifting and used in conjunction with a triple crainset for a total of 27 gears. This also delivers a wide range of gears enabling the bike to tackle all terrains.

The Body Geometry Women's Riva 155mm saddle features generous padding for all-day performance and comfort.
