The Crosstrail Sport Disc is a multi purpose, versatile bike that can be used for commuting, off road use, or general cycling. It features some key upgrades over it's predecssor in the Crosstrail range (the Crosstrail Disc) such as hydraulic disc brakes, lockout suspension fork and 9 speed shifting.

Specialized use their A1 Premium Aluminium frame for lightweight confident ride on any surface, with mudguard and rack mounts allowing for panniers to be used making it popular for commuting.

The 75mm-travel SR Suntour fork allows this hybrid to go off road with ease, absorbing bumps and knocks off road, making the bike ideal for those who want a bike to commute on, but off road at weekends. A lockout feature on the fork means that it can be locked out on the road to make it behave like a rigid fork.

This is complimented by the Specialized Borough XC Sport 700c tyres which roll fast on the road, but have enough traction for the trail, and a wheelset tough and durable enough to take off road knocks.

Tektro Draco hydraulic disc brakes offer improved stopping power over the cable disc brakes, delivering stopping power in any conditions.

Shimano M390 Rapidfire 9 speed shifters deliver fast and accurate shifting, with a Shimano triple chainset used (with chainguard for protection) to offer a total of 27 gears to tackle a wide variety of terrains.

Specialized Body Geometry saddle has front /rear bumpers for on and off-road durability and ample padding for comfort.
