The frameset is made from Specialized A1 Premium Aluminium using Specialized's compact race design geometry, sacrificing some comfort in comparison to the Secteur for the some performance. The frameset is smooth welded and stiff and light for a fast ride. The lightweight Specialized FACT carbon fork aides ride quality by absorbing some of the road vibrations and helps deliver precise and confident handling.

The transmission is upgraded in comparison to the Allez Double model, using 9 speed Shimano Sora shifters, along with Shimano Sora front and rear mechs and double chainset, for 18 gears in total. The brakeset is upgraded to Shimano Sora brakes for greater stopping power. The wheelset is also upgraded with Shimano 2200 hubs used.

The finishing touches come from Specialized's excellent accessory range; the saddle is a Specialized Body Geometry Riva with a Specialized alloy seatpost, Specialized Elite aluminium bars and Specialized S-Wrap Bar Tape.

The Allez Sport Double is a good quality aluminium road bike, with FACT carbon fork, Shimano Sora 9 Speed transmission and brakes for a fast ride with 18 gears.
