Taking the frame and components of the Ridgeback Motion Ladies, the Speed features upgraded brakes; Tektro V-Brakes for greater stopping power and an upgraded wheel package.

The main difference between the two models is that the Speed comes equipped with mudguards and pannier rack.

The Speed is an excellent bike for getting around the city, with bolt on wheels to prevent  opportunist theft of the wheels, 7 speed Shimano shifting with a triple chainset (with chainguard) to offer a range of 21 gears. The frame has a low step through for easy mounting and dismounting.

The Ridgeback Speed Ladies is a great bike for getting around the city, with Shimano gears, Tektro V-Brakes and equipped with mudguards and a rack.
