The Fairfax is the big brother to the Belvedere, upgraded with a carbon fork and 9 speed shifting.

This bike is designed for the same type of riding as the Belvedere; fast commuters, long distance riding and general weekend riding. The frame is designed along the lines of a road bike, but with a flat handlebar for a bit more comfort and also confidence for those who don't want a dropped handlebar.

The aluminium frame is triple butted; with the tubes thinner in the middle where there is no stress or flex, but reinforced around the welds where stress is greater. Marin's 'Edge Tubing' creates a sleek and stylish look to the frame, with a carbon fork adding to ride comfort by absorbing road vibrations. The bar ends offer an additional riding position.

Shimano 9 speed EZFire shifters are used in conjunction with a triple chainset, for a total of 27 gears, enabling the bike to tackle a variety of terrains.
