With the Keo cleats, Look engineers optimized all the characteristsics of the cleat and especially the bearing surface. Although the Keo cleat is smaller than the previous Delta cleat it has a greater platform surface for greater power transfer.

This new cleat format had been developed for the purposes of losing weight on the pedal - cleat assembly while remaining compatible with all shoes on the market. The cleat size therefore was reduced while retaining the three attachment points of the old Delta standard along with the operating kinematic (pivot point located in the front of the cleat).

With the Keo standard, engagement and disengagement are even more efficient.

The Keo cleats are avialable in three variations, coloured coded:

Black: Fixed Position

Grey: 4.5 Degrees of float

Red: 9 Degrees of float
