We staged our annual Mountain Bike Demo Day at Aston Hill on Good Friday, 6th April 2012, organised by Ben and aided by the mechanic Josh, who was on hand for any technical difficulties.

The staging of the event on Good Friday meant a great turnout of customers; around 50 riders came along to try a selection of Whyte, Trek and Specialized demo bikes. Amongst the most popular bikes ridden were the Trek Slash and Trek Remedy, the Whyte 29c and the Specialized Status, blessed with sunshine for the early arrivals.

The initial rides centred around the Trek Slash and Trek Remedy, with the Whyte 146 grabbing alot of attention as well. Once most riders had ridden these alot of riders tried the Specialized Camber and Epic. Most riders used the XC loop when trying out the Camber and Epic, and the Demo and Status downhill bike were tried out later in teh afternoon, quite a different ride to the XC bikes!

A big thanks to Neil from Whyte, Mark from Trek and Mike from 661 for attending on behalf of their companies and helping out demo day, David and Dave from Specialized for lending us some bikes and an easy up.
