The RS is the more relaxed version of the best selling R3, with a longer headtube for a more comfortable ride, and although heavier than the R3, is still light.

Part of Cervelo's R-Series, the principle design of this series is to offer a difference and performance benefit on climbs. Yet, the RS is tough enough and fast enough to carry Thor Hushovd to second place in the Paris-Roubaix.

The RS offers torsional stiffness for safety and confidence while descending, with a stiff bottom bracket area so as not to waste any energy. The RS has great vertical compliance and vibration damping for comfort on long rides & bad roads.

Using the same seatstays as the R3, these are ultra thin and are very light whilst offering great compliance and therefore aid ride comfort. As with the R-Series, Cervelo's Squoval technology is used; a combination of square tubing which reduces side to side flex, and round tubes, which resist torsion better.
